Dollag's Cottage is a newly renovated self catering cottage in the village of Shawbost on the spectacular Isle of Lewis in the outer Hebrides. The cottage is generally let on a weekly basis and can sleep 6 people in one downstairs double room and two upstairs twin rooms and it has a shower room adapted for those with limited mobility. All bedding and towels are provided and both oil and electricity are included in the rental price so there is no need to feed a meter.

The cottage is the perfect "get away from it all" destination with lots for all the family to do and it provides quality accommodation in a great location. If you want to watch the wildlife, sit in the sun and read a book, fish, visit a stone circle or let the kids play on the beach you need only walk a short distance from the cottage. Jump in the car for a few minutes and you can be 10 pin bowling, eating out, visiting the Callanish stone circle, enjoying live music in Stornoway or have your choice of truly remarkable beaches.

The weekly rates are detailed below, the normal change over day is Saturday but bookings for short breaks can sometimes be arranged, especially in low season. To facliltate the changeover we would ask that outgoing visitors vacate the cottage before 1000 on the day they are leaving and the cottage will be available for new arrivals after 1600. If you book through a 3rd party booking service then Dollanna has no control over the booking and, usually, will not be provided with any contact details for you plus attempts to exchange email addresses or phone numbers will be removed (by the 3rd party) from any messages exchanged. Dollanna also has no control over what the 3rd party provider might charge for their service and she doesn't get the deposit or see any money until you have arrived in the cottage. Usually you will pay the 3rd party provider in the region of £100 per week more than what she charges if you come to her directly. For more details contact Dollanna:
