A short timelapse video of some of the evenings we saw the Northern Lights in the late Summer and early Autumn of 2015. The images in this video were shot on the beach nearby the cottage, from the cottage itself or from a nearby hill looking down on the cottage and the coastline of the West Side of the Isle of Lewis. The music is a tune that was made up on the night and recorded at a ceilidh in Shawbost and is performed by Annie Maclennan and Derick Maclennan:
The timelapse video below shows the Lewis moorland with its ever changing light plus some other timelapse views of the area. The music to accompany this video is a traditional Lewis tune, Eala Bhan, recorded at a house ceilidh in Shawbost and performed by Royal National Mod Gold Medal winner Annie Maclennan and her father Derick.
